Diagnosed Cancer Cases Arogyam Anandam

The data on diagnosed cancer cases under the Arogyam Anandam Programme highlights large-scale screening efforts and the outcomes of early detection activities. Among the cancer types, breast cancer had the highest number of persons screened (15,19,799), followed by cervical and oral cancers, indicating strong outreach coverage. Although a substantial number of individuals were referred for further diagnosis across all categories, the proportion of confirmed cases remains relatively low, reflecting effective screening in identifying potential risk cases for detailed evaluation. Breast cancer also recorded the highest number of diagnosed cases (259), followed by cervical (84), oral (62), and colon cancer (12).
